Hot Air Oven 400
Ovens are sturdy, with double walled construction. Inner chamber made of STAINLESS STEEL sheet. Outer chamber is made of mild steel sheet, finished with white powder coated paint. The gap between the walls is filled up with special grade glass wool or PCRC sheet for proper insulation to avoid heat losses.
Forced convection system ensures good mixing, strong dispersion and maintains higher temperature uniformity inside the chamber.
Inner chamber has ribs for placing the shelves at convenient levels and supplied with 1 to 3 removable shelves. It is fitted with heavy hinges with a ball catcher. Door is duly insulated. Oven is fitted with lockable castor wheels for ease of movement.
Elements:–
Heating elements are made of high quality nickel/chrome plated nichrome wire which are put inside beads and placed at the bottom and in both the side ribs for uniform temperature all over the work space.
Temperature Control:–
Temperature is controlled by imported capillary type thermostat from ambient +50°C to 400°C ± 4°C. Temperature control knob is graduated in centigrade degrees. (PID optional)
Control Panel:–
Comprising of switch to ON/OFF the power, thermostat control knob and indicators for mains and thermostats, cord and plug.

- Microprocessor based digital PID temperature controller
- Auto temperature and time controller (only with PID controller)
- Timer – Once the unit is switched ‘ON’ heating starts automatically and once the set/desired value is achieved the in-built AUTOMATIC DIGITAL MINUTE TIMER starts automatically. Once this set time period is over the heaters are switched OFF.
- Buzzer- sound buzzer to indicate user that process is complete
- Adjustable alarm limits (only with PID controller)
- RS 232 port for data transfer to PC along with software (only with PID controller)
- Touch screen colour display
- Programmable PLC controller with touch screen color display HMI. Models fitted with these controllers require no human intervention till a full cycle is complete.
